Revocation of inactive account handling policies by WEVERSE COMPANY
Hello from WEVERSE COMPANY.
We would like to announce the revocation of WEVERSE COMPANY’s policies on handling inactive accounts across all its services, according to the abolition of Article 39-6 (Special Cases on the Destruction of Personal Information) of the Personal Information Protection Act.
Each service by WEVERSE COMPANY has followed the company's policies on handling inactive accounts, and they have separately managed the personal information of inactive accounts. As of November 30, 2023 (KST), however, the policies will be revoked, and those accounts will no longer be handled as inactive accounts.

■ Details
1. Each service's policies on handling inactive accounts will be revoked.
- An account will not be categorized as an inactive account even if the account has not been active on a WEVERSE COMPANY's service for over a year.
- All amendments made by each service are detailed in the table below.
2. The status of all inactive accounts will be changed.
- Starting on the date above, the status of all inactive accounts will be changed to active.
3. You may submit an intention of refusal.
- If you do not consent to the amendments made, you may choose to leave the service . If you do not submit an explicit refusal to the amendments, it will be considered that you consent to them.

- Weverse Account: Relevant article deleted
- Article 13 (Inactive Accounts)
(a) If a Member has failed to use the Service for more than a year, his/her account shall be classified as a dormant account in order to ensure the smooth management of Members, and the Company may restrict the activities and use of Weverse Shop Cash of Members with dormant accounts.
(b) After a Member’s account is designated as a dormant account, the Company may subsequently delete such Member’s Weverse Shop Cash balance by providing notice in accordance with the methods in Article 11.

- Article 13 (Inactive Accounts)
(a) If a Member has failed to use the Service for more than a year, his/her account shall be classified as a dormant account in order to ensure the smooth management of Members, and the Company may restrict the activities and use of Weverse Jelly of Members with dormant accounts.
(b) After a Member’s account is designated as a dormant account, the Company may subsequently delete such Member’s Weverse Jelly balance by providing notice in accordance with the methods in Article 11.
- Weverse Shop: Relevant article deleted
- Article 13 (Inactive Accounts)
(a)If a Member has failed to use the Service for more than a year, his/her account shall be classified as a dormant account in order to ensure the smooth management of Members, and the Company may restrict the activities and use of Weverse Shop Cash of Members with dormant accounts.
(b)After a Member’s account is designated as a dormant account, the Company may subsequently delete such Member’s Weverse Shop Cash balance by providing notice in accordance with the methods in Article 11.
- Phoning: Relevant article deleted
- Article 12 (Inactive Accounts)
(a)If a Member has failed to use the Service for more than a year, his/her account shall be classified as a dormant account in order to ensure the smooth management of Members, and the Company may restrict the activities and use of the Service by Members with dormant accounts.
- Weverse Albums: Relevant article deleted
- Article 13 (Dormant Accounts)
1. If a Member does not use the Service for a year, the Member's account is processed as a dormant account for smooth Member management, and the Member's activity and Service use may be restricted.
2. After four years from the day when a Member is processed as a dormant account, the Company may notify the Member and delete all the Member's data according to Article 4. Destroying Personal Information of the Privacy Policy. With this, the use right of the Digital Code that the Member registered will also lapse.
