WEVERSE COMPANY Privacy Policy Updates (effective from November 30, 2023)
Hello from WEVERSE COMPANY.
We are making changes to the WEVERSE COMPANY Privacy Policy that take effect from November 30, 2023 (KST). The details of the changes are as below.
1. Changes to the Privacy Policy
1) Article 3 (Processed Personal Information) has been updated as below.
- “HYBE Labels Artist Portrait exhibition ticketing service” has been deleted due to the termination of the service
2) Article 7 (Retention of Personal Information) has been updated as below.
- Retention policy has been modified due to the abolition of the inactive user policy
. Inactive user policy has been abolished in accordance with the amendment to the Personal Information Protection Act on September 15, 2023, the special provision of Article 39-6 (Special Cases of Personal Information Destruction) related to the valid retention period of personal information.

For any accounts of inactive users who have not used our services for 1 year or longer after they joined membership, we separately store the personal information of such inactive users. The personal information separately stored will be retained for 4 years, after which period the information will be destroyed.
We will notify inactive account users of the following matters at least 30 days prior to the expiry of their accounts:
- The fact that personal information is disposed of, or the fact that personal information is separately stored and managed
- Date/time of destruction
- Content of personal information disposed of

We immediately destroy your personal information when it becomes unnecessary, such as when the retention period has elapsed or when the purpose of processing personal information has been achieved.
In addition, we separately store and manage your personal information until the retention period specified in the provisions of applicable law has elapsed as outlined below. If we need to preserve personal information in accordance with our internal policies, we will retain relevant personal information for a specified period as outlined below.
3) The list of third parties provided with personal information has been updated as below.
- Companies added for community service: Showplay Entertainment Co., Ltd., ANTENNA Co., Ltd.
- Companies added for membership service: ANTENNA Co., Ltd.
- Companies added for membership kit service: ANTENNA Co., Ltd.
- Companies deleted due to community service contract termination: AOMG
4) Matters related to “international transfer of personal information" have been updated as below.
- Added new entrusted companies: Yulchon LLC., GalaxiaMoneytree Co., Ltd.
2. Complaints and relevant inquiries
- The amended Privacy Policy will take effect on November 30, 2023 (KST).
