WEVERSE COMPANY Privacy Policy Updates (effective from September 12, 2023)

We are making changes to the WEVERSE COMPANY Privacy Policy that take effect from September 12, 2023 (KST). The details of the changes are as below.

1. Changes to the Privacy Policy

 1) Article 3 (Processed Personal Information) has been updated as below.

  - The duration of keeping has been changed for the personal information processed for event prize shipping.

  * Before change: For 1 year from the end of the event, and up to 7 days from the announcement of prize winners for the personal information of non-winning participants

  * After change: For 1 year from the end of the event, and for up to 6 months from the announcement of prize winners for the personal information of non-winning participants

  - A change has been made in the type of personal information processed for the service use.

  * Before: Cookies collected in the process of using the internet service

  * After change: Information automatically generated by cookies

2) The list of third parties provided with personal information has been updated as below.

  - Companies added for community service: SM Entertainment Co., Ltd., LOOKMEDIA entertainment

  - Companies added for membership service: SM Entertainment Co., Ltd.

3) Matters related to “international transfer of personal information" have been updated as below.

  - Third parties provided with personal information

  * A company added for membership service: SMEJ Plus Inc.

2. Complaints and relevant inquiries

  - The amended Privacy Policy will take effect on September 12, 2023 (KST).
