- Precautions for handling
- If MotiPen does not power up, please recharge the battery. If you do not use the enclosed USB cable when charging MotiPen, it may cause the pen to malfunction. Please note that sound data will not be recovered if you alter or delete the data in the pen when it is connected to a PC via USB cable. The MotiPen sensor is capable of reading text at angles from 45° to 110° from a horizontal line. Holding the pen lower than 45° or past 110° from the page may lead to a drop in the recognition rate. Using MotiPen outdoors in direct sunlight may adversely affect the sensor’s recognition rate. Keeping the pen less than 1.5 cm away from the page after tapping the target content may result in a repeat playback. After tapping the target content, please hold the pen 1.5 cm away from the page for best results. Covering MotiPen’s sensor with your fingers or other obstructions of the sensor may prevent the pen from properly reading the text.
