Weverse Company Privacy Policy Updates (effective from September 19, 2024)

Hello from Weverse Company.

We are making changes to the Weverse Company Privacy Policy that take effect from September 19, 2024 (KST). The details of the changes are as below.

[Changes to the Privacy Policy]

1. The legal basis for processing has been specified in Article 3 “Processed Personal Information,” Article 4 “Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties,” and Article 6 “International Transfer of Personal Information.”

  - The classification of personal information processing status based on consent or non-consent and the legal basis has been reflected by the distribution of the "Guidelines on Preparation of Personal Information Processing Policy in April 2024.”

2. The list of third parties provided with personal information has been updated as follows:

  - Companies added for community service: Redstart ENM Inc.、ATTRAKT Inc.、Goodman's Story Co.,Ltd.

  - Companies whose contract has terminated: DG Entertainment, MLD ENTERTAINMENT

  - Companies added for membership service: Fantagio Corp., Kreation Music Rights Co., Ltd., F&F Entertainment Co., Ltd.

  - Companies added for membership kit service: Fantagio Corp., F&F Entertainment Co., Ltd.

3. Matters related to the “international transfer of personal information" have been updated as follows:

  - Added company: I2MAX

  - Updated company (sub-entrusted → entrusted): MatrixCloud

  - Withdrawn companies (contract terminated): We Do Soft Inc., KU Software Research Center

  - Added re-consignee: Anchors

4. Article 6 International Transfer of Personal Information has been updated as follows:

  - Companies added for membership service: A-Sketch Inc.

  - Added the status of using overseas platforms based on the use of Google advertising platforms

5. Article 11 (Installation and Operation of Automatic Collection Tools for Personal Information and Refusal Thereof) has been updated by adding matters regarding the “collection and use of online behavioral information to provide customized advertising.”

6. Article 12 (Decision-Making Standards for Additional Use and Provision of Personal Information) has been updated by specifying the recipients of information and the legal basis for processing information.

7. The terminology in regional clauses has been changed to terminology that is easier to understand.
